Recipe: Banana, Peach + Vanilla Protein Smoothie

This protein smoothie is one of my go-to’s. It’s delicious, easy to make, and has a ton of nutrients that support you looking and feeling your best. The flavor this banana-peach-vanilla combo packs is just too good, and the benefits are equally as enticing.

First, this smoothie contains a high amount of protein. Protein is the most important nutrient you can have after a workout. There are 20 grams alone in one serving of this recipe’s protein powder. Consuming protein as soon as possible (within 30 minutes) after exercising is essential to your body’s recovery, as it builds and repairs muscle and replenishes energy. A protein supplement such as the plant-based powder mentioned in this recipe gives a considerable boost to the recommended daily intake, especially if you aren’t a heavy meat eater.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Peach
  • 1 serving Plant-Based Vanilla Protein
  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 2 cups Almond Milk
  • 1 tsp Chia Seeds
  • 2 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 handful of ice

Instructions:

Slice fruit. Combine all ingredients in a blender and mix to your preferred consistency, adding more milk if needed.
